Kim has over 17 years of experience in aviation and oil & gas industries. He started his career at Singapore Airlines where he was involved in various aspects of ground services and airport operations where he launched the world’s first global text message check-in service and made Internet check-in available to all passengers. He worked at Shell as a management consultant advising senior management on organizational design, cost efficiency, talent development and investment & portfolio strategy. Since joining IATA in Geneva in 2008, he has been in various roles including developing new products and services, leading innovation programs and driving new business.
