Stefano is Director-General for Industrial policy, Competitiveness and Small and Medium Enterprises at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. His main tasks concern the design and implementation of Italy’ policies to boost industrial competitiveness, including the newly-launched “Industria 4.0” Plan. He is also member of the Prime Minister’s task force on Economy Policy and national SME Envoy. He graduated in Political Sciences at the University of Turin, and achieved a post-graduate Master’s in International Economics at the London School of Economics.
